Step-by-step explanation:

Given A bag contains 3 red, 4 white, and 5 blue marbles. Jason begins removing marbles from the bag at random, one at a time. What is the least number of marbles he must remove to be sure that he has at least one of each color?

  • Now according to the question a bag contains 3 red, 4 white and 5 blue marbles. So Jason’s first pick might be five blue marbles and four white marbles and that will be together 9 marbles. But the tenth marble will be the red one and he would have at least one of each colour and so it will be 10. Therefore least number of marbles he needs to remove to be sure that he has at least one of each color will be 10
