Answer:

Given-

  • Red balls = 3
  • Blue balls = 3
  • Green balls = 9
  • Total balls = 15

To find:

  • Probability of getting a green and red ball.

Solution :

We know that,

Probability = Favourable outcomes/Total outcomes

Here, favourable outcomes = green and red ball ( 3 + 9 = 12 )

Total outcomes = 15

Probability = 12/15 => 4/5

Hence, probability will be 4/5.

\large\mathcal\red{\underbrace{SOLUTION:-}}

  • Red balls = 3.
  • Blue balls = 3.
  • Green balls = 9.

Formula Of Probability :-

Favourable Outcomes/Total Outcomes.

  • Favourable Outcomes = 9+3 = 12 balls.
  • Total Outcomes = 15

⇢ 12/15

⇢ 4/5.

Hence, Probability = 4/5.
