Solution :

$\longmapsto\tt{Black\:Balls=5}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Total\:Balls=8}$

(i) Probability of getting a red ball :

$\longmapsto\tt{Favourable\:Outcomes=3}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Probability=\frac{No.\:of\:Fav.\:Outcomes}{Total\:No.\:of\:Outcomes}}$

$\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{3}{8}}$

So , Probability of getting a red ball is 3/8 ...
