A bag contains 3 red beads and 7 green beads. Another contain one red and one green more. The probability of getting a red from which bag is more.?

Case I

Total no. if outcomes = 3 + 7 = 10

No. of favourable outcomes (red) = 3

P(E) = 3/10 = 0.3

Case II

Total no. of outcomes = (3 + 1) + (7 + 1) = 12

No. of favourable outcomes (red) = 3 + 1 = 4

P(E) = 4/12 = 1/3 = 0.333

The probability in both cases is almost same but is greater in second case..
