the probability that the ball drawn is neither black nor white = probability of getting a red ball

⇒  p = 4 / ( 3 + 4 + 5 )

⇒  p = 4 / 12

p = 1/3 .

Hope this helps you ✌️✌️☘️☘️.

Total possible outcomes = total number of balls =

( 3 + 4 + 5 )= 12

Total number of balls that are non black and non white = 4

Therefore, P ( getting a ball that is neither black nor White )= 4/12=1/3
