Answer: Number of red balls = 4

Total number of balls = 4 + 6 + 7 = 17

Therefore probability of a red ball

= 4/17.

b) Number of the blue and yellow

= 6 + 7

= 13

Therefore probability of a blue or a yellow ball

= 13/17.

c) Total number of balls that are not blue

= Red balls + Yellow balls

= 4 + 7 = 11

Therefore probability of not a blue ball = 11/17.

AnswEr :

We have,

  • 4 red Balls
  • 6 Blue Balls
  • 7 yellow Balls

Total number of Balls = 4 + 6 + 7

Total number of Balls = 17 Balls

\\

Formula of probability,

\star\; \boxed{\sf{\purple{P_{(E)} = \dfrac{Number \ of \ possible \ outcomes}{Total \ number \ of \ outcomes}}}}

Now,

Probability of getting yellow balls,

Total Number of yellow balls = 7

:\implies\bf \dfrac{7}{17}

\therefore Hence, probability of getting yellow balls is 7/17.
