Answer:

Number of red balls = 5

Number of green balls = 8

Number of white balls = 7

Total number of balls = 5 + 8 + 7

                                    = 20

i). P(a white or green ball) = P(a white ball) + P(a green ball)

                                           = 7/20 + 8/20

                                           = 15/20

                                           = 3/4

ii). P(neither a green ball not a red ball) = P(a white ball)

                                                                 = 7/20

Number of cards in the deck = 52

Number of non-face cards = 40

Number of black kings = 2

Number of red queen = 2

i). P(a non-face card) = 40/52

                                  = 10/13

ii). P(a black king or a red queen) = P(a black king) + P(a red queen)

                                                       = 2/52 + 2/52

                                                       = 4/52

                                                       = 1/13
