a bag contains 5 red balls and some blue balls if the probability of drawing a blue ball is double that of a red ball determine the number of blue balls in the bag​

Answer:

Number of Red balls = 5

Number of Blue balls = 2× red balls

= 2×5

= 10

Total number of balls = 15

Favourable number of Blue balls = 10

Total number of balls = 15

P(A) = Favourable number of Blue balls/Total number of balls

= 10/15

= 2/3

Hence, the probability of Blue balls in bag is 2/3.
