Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the no of white ball be x

red balls = 5

total outcomes= 5+x

we know tht

probability of white balls=x/5+x

probability of red balls= 5/5+x

acc to que;

x/5+x= 2×( 5/5+x )

so

x=10

(5+x ) both are cancelled

so we conclude that no.of white balls is 10

Bag contains: 5 Red Ball + some White Ball

Let, White Balls be x
Red balls be 5

Therefore, Total outcomes = 5 + x

So,

» Probability of White Ball =  \frac{x} {x + 5}

» Probability of Red Balls =  \frac{5}{x + 5 }

A. T. Q

Probability of White B. = 2×Probability of Red B.

 \dfrac{x} {5 + x} = 2 ×  \dfrac{5}{5 + x}

x = 2 × 5

x = 10

 \bf{\blue {\boxed{Hence, no.\: of\: White\: Balls\:are\:10}}}

Hope it helps you!
