1. Possible outcome = 14

  Favourable outcome = 5

P(E) = Favourable outcome/Possible outcome

      = 5/14

Probability of getting a white ball is 5/14

2. Possible outcome = 14

   Favourable outcome = 9

P(E) = Favourable outcome/Possible outcome

       = 9/14

Probability of getting a red ball is 9/14
