Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of coins is 5:9:4 in terms of number of coins

What is the ratio in terms of value?

It is 5×50: 9×25: 4×10 and this works out to

250 : 225 : 40. The total of ratios is 250 +225+ 40 =515. That means in the least proportions the population equals to 515.

For this a value has been given. That is Rs 206. Since there are 100 paise for a Rupee and we are dealing with paise let the amont be converted to Paise. That is 206 ×100 = 20600 paise.

Now this is the value of the popoulation. Therefore 515 can be equated to 20600 paise

Therefore 1 unit = 20600/515 = 40

This means if we expand the least proportions by 40 times we would get the actual values.

Therefore nimbers of coins in the bag are as follows.

50 paise = 5 × 40 =200

25 paise =9 ×40 =360

10 paise =4 ×40 =160
