Step-by-step explanation:

given proportion of coins is in 3:4:5

so, total coins of 50 paise=3x, total coins of 25 paise= 4x and total coins of 10 paise= 5x. hence, total coins = (3x+4x+5x)

and also given total value of the coins is Rs.12.

so,total value of coins = [(3x)×50+(4x)×25+(5x)×10] in paise= (12×100)paise

so,[150x+100x+50x]=1200

300x=1200

x = 1200/300

x = 4

Since, total coins of 25 paise is 4x = 4×4.

so,answer of the question is 16. Hence, right answer is (B).
