Answer:

No. of 50p coins = 50

No. of 25p coins = 20

 No. of 10p coins = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

The 50p, 25p and 10p coins are in the ratio 5:2:4.

Hence let the no. of coins be = 5x , 2x , 4x respectively

The total amount in the bag is = Rs.34

=> (0.50)(5x) + (0.25)(2x) + (0.10)(4x) = 34

=>2.5x + .5x + .4x = 34

=> 3.4x = 34

=>x = 10

=> No. of 50p coins = 5x 10 = 50

=> No. of 25p coins = 2x 10 = 20

=> No. of 10p coins = 4x 10 = 40
