Let the number of coins be 50p , 25p and 10p coins be 5x , 9x and 4x

Rupees 206 = 20600p

A.T.Q. -

5x(50) + 9x(25) + 4x(10) = 20600

or, 250x + 225x + 40x = 20600

or, 515x = 20600

or, x = 20600/515

or, x = 40

No. of 50p coins = 5x = 5×40 = 200coins

No. of 25p coins = 9x = 9×40 = 360coins

No. of 10p coins = 4x = 4 × 40 = 160 coins

Answer) No. of 50p coins is 200 , 25p coins
is 360 and 10p coins is 160

Since 50p,25p and 10p coins are in ratio 5:9:4,

=> Number of coins of 25p = 9x.

=> Number of coins of 10p = 4x.

Value of 50p coins= 5x×50 paisa= 250x p
&
Value of 25p coins= 9x×25 paisa= 225x p
&
Value of 10p coins= 4x×10 paisa= 40x p

Total sum of values of all coins,S = 206 Rupees.
=> Total sum,S = 20600 paisa.

=> 250x + 225x + 40x = 20600

=> 515x = 20600

=> x = 20600/515 = 40.

●So total coins of 50p = 5×40 = 200
