To find : The number of blue balls in the bag.

Let us assume that  there be "x" number of blue balls in the bag.

Total number of balls in the bag = ( 5 + x )

Now, According to the given question!

Probability of drawing a blue ball = x / 5 + x

Probability of drawing a red ball =  x / 5 + x

Given that :-

P₁ = 2P₂

x/5+x = 2 ×  5 / 5 + x

x/5+x = 10/5+x

⇒ x = 10
