Answer:

a) 3/5 (60%), 4/5 (80%)

Step-by-step explanation:

Total= 6+3+6 = 15

a) Probability of getting a red ball = 6/15

Probability of getting a black ball = 3/15

Therefore, probability of getting a red or black ball = 6+3/15

=9/15

=3/5

b) Probability of getting a white ball = 6/15

Probability of getting a red ball = 6/15

Therefore, Probability of not getting a black ball = 6+6/15

=12/15

=4/5

Answer:

a. No. of red and black = 9

total no. of balls = 15

p(red or black balls) = 9/15

b. No. of no black balls = 12

total no. of balls = 15

P( not black) = 12/15
