Answer:

A bag contains 6 white and 4 red balls.

A white ball drawn then Rs10

If red ball then Rs20

⇒ Expectation =2(n1P1 + n2P2)

Here P1

 = Probability of getting a white ball= Rs.10

Here P2

= Probability of getting a red ball =Rs.20

∴ Expectation =2[0.6×10+0.4×20]

                        =Rs28.

Hence, the answer is Rs.28.

Thank you

Have a nice day
