Let no. of 50p coins be x and 25p coins be y
then
x+y=94........(1)
given that:-
now their total value is ₹29.75 =2975paise
no. of 50 paise coins = x
no. of 25 paise coins = y
50x +25y =2975
25(2x+y)=2975
2x+y=119..........2
subtractin --(1) from --(2)
we get ,
x=25 put in --(1)
we get,
y =94 - x
= 69
no. of 50 p coins is 25 and 25 p coins is 69
