1 rupees + 50 paise + 25 paise = 1.75 rupees.
1.75 * x = 35
x = 35/1.75 = 20
1*20=20 rupees
50*20=1000/100= 10 rupees
25*20=500/100= 5 rupees

20+10+5=35

Answer:

20 number of coins of each type are there in a bag.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a bag contains an equal number of one rupee coins, 50 paisa coins and 25 paisa coins respectively. If the total value is rs. 35/-

we have to find the number of coins of each type.

Let the number of coins of each type= x

Total Value = Rs. 35

Now,

(1)x+x(50\thinspace paisa)+x(25\thinspace paisa)=35

x+\frac{x}{2}+\frac{x}{4}=35

\frac{4x+2x+x}{4}=35

\frac{7x}{4}=35

x=35\times \frac{4}{7}=20

Therefore, 20 number of coins of each type are there in a bag.
