Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of fruits

they are in ratio 5x : 3x : 2x

total fruits = 5x + 3x + 2x = 10x

according to the question grapefruit are in 2x ratio

so => 2x = 24

=> x = 12

a) apples = 5x = 5(12) = 60 apples

b) oranges = 3x = 3(12) = 36 oranges.
