A bag contains cards numbered from 1 to 50 a card is drawn from the bag find the probability the number on this card is divisible by 3 and 5

If a number is divisible by 3 and 5, then the number is also divisible by 3 × 5 = 15.

As the cards are numbered from 1 to 50, the total no. of cards = 50.

∴ Total no. of outcomes = 50

Multiplies of 15 between 1 and 50:

15, 30, 45

∴ No. of favourable outcomes = 3

∴ Probability = 3/50.
