Answer:

The value of 2 rupees coins = 2 * 3x/20 = Rs 3x/10. 5x + 3x/10 = 1272. 50x + 3x =1272 * 10. x = 12720/53 = 240.

explanation

Let the no. of 5 rupees coin be x. therefore the no. of 2 rupees coin = 15x/100 = 3x/20.

The value of 5 rupees coins = 5 x= Rs. 5x. The value of 2 rupees coins 23x/20 = Rs 3x/

10.

According to question 5x + 3x/10 = 1272.

50x + 3x=1272 * 10.

53x = 12720

x = 12720/53=240.

Thus,

the no. of 5 rupees coins = 240. and the no. of 2 rupees coins = 240 * 3/20 = 36.
