Answer:

50 paise = 0.5 Rs

25 paise = 0.25 Rs

Let the common multiple be x

Therefore, number of 1 Rs , 50 paise and 25 paise coins are 4x , 5x and 6x respectively.

According to the given condition,

4x + 5x + 6x = 120

              15x = 120

                  x = 8

Thus , the number of 25 paise coins = 6x

                                                            = 6 x 8

                                                            =  48 coins

Answer:

c) 90

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 1 rupees in the bag be 4x

50 paisa in the bag be 5x

and, 25 paisa in the bag be 6x

where'x' is the common factor

So amount of money in the bag (In paisa)

100 × 4x + 50 × 5x + 25 × 6x

= 400x + 250x + 150x = 800x paise

ATQ,

800x = 12000 paise

=> x = 12000/800 = 15

Hence number of coins of 25 paisa = 6x = 6×15 = 90
