a bag contains coins rupees fifty paise twenty five paise and ten paise coins in the ratio of 1 :3:5:7 . if total amount is Rs 96 number of 50 paise coins and number of 25 paise coins and number of 10 paise coins and number of 1 Rupee coins

Let,
x = number of 1 Rupee coins
y = number of 50 paise coins
z = number of 25 paise coins
t = number of 10 paise coins

We know that 1 Rupee = 100 paisa

Given that,
x + y + z + t = Rs 96
x + y + z + t = 9600 paise ......... (1)

Also given that,
x : y : z : t = 1 : 3 : 5 : 7 ................. (2)

Therefore from (1) & (2),

x + 3x + 5x + 7x = 9600 paise
16x = 9600 paise
x = 600 paise

Therefore,
y = (3)(600) = 1800 paise
z = (5)(600) = 3000 paise
t = (7)(600) = 4200 paise

Now,
x = 600/100 = 6 numbers of 1 rupee coins
