Let,
x = number of 1 Rupee coins
y = number of 50 paise coins
z = number of 25 paise coins
t = number of 10 paise coins
We know that 1 Rupee = 100 paisa
Given that,
x + y + z + t = Rs 96
x + y + z + t = 9600 paise ......... (1)
Also given that,
x : y : z : t = 1 : 3 : 5 : 7 ................. (2)
Therefore from (1) & (2),
x + 3x + 5x + 7x = 9600 paise
16x = 9600 paise
x = 600 paise
Therefore,
y = (3)(600) = 1800 paise
z = (5)(600) = 3000 paise
t = (7)(600) = 4200 paise
Now,
x = 600/100 = 6 numbers of 1 rupee coins
x = number of 1 Rupee coins
y = number of 50 paise coins
z = number of 25 paise coins
t = number of 10 paise coins
