A bag contains green and red balls . The ratio of numbers of green to red balls is 3:4 . If the bag contains 140 balls then how many red balls are there in the bag ? ​

let the ratio constant be x

then green balls=3x

and red balls=4x

given

3x+4x=140

7x=140

x=20

red balls=4x

=4×20=80 red balls
