A bag contains green and red balls. The ratio of numbers of green to red balls is 3 : 4. If the bag contains 140 balls then how many red balls are there in the bag?

Answer:

we have to take 3x+4x=140

7x=140

x=140/7=20

Now putting the value of x

for green 3×20=60

for red ball 4×20 =80

so answer is total no of red balls in are 80
