Let the number of green balls be '3x'

Let the number of red balls be'4x'

3x+4x=140

7x=140

x=140/7=20

Thus,the number of red balls=4x= 4x20=80

given green and red balls are in the ratio o is 3:4

i.e, green balls=3x and red balls =4x

Also given total no.of  balls =3x+4x=140i.e, x=20

hence we can say that  red balls =4x=4*20=80
