Answer:

Total amount in the bag=Rs 750

Let the number of rupee be 5x, number of 50 paisa coin be 8x and number of 25 paisa coin be 4x

According to the question

5x(1)+8x(0.5)+4x(0.25)=50

5x+4x+x=750

10x=750

x=75

Therefore,

Number of coin of rupee=5×75=375

Number of coin of 50 paisa =8×75=600

Number of coin of 25 paisa=4×75=300

hope this helps u..

A bag contains Rs750 in the form of rupee, 50 P and 25 P coins in the ratio 5:8:4. Find the number of coins of each type.

\Large\bold\green{Given}

◇ Total amount in the bag = Rs 750

◇ Ratios = 5:8:4

\Large\bold\green{To\:Find}

◇ The number of coins of each type.

\Large\bold\red{Solution}

Let the number of rupee be 5x

Let the number of 50 paisa coin be 8x

Let the number of 25 paisa coin be 4x

From the question

5x (1) + 8x (0.5) + 4 x (0.25) = 50

5x + 4x + x = 750

10x = 750

x =  \frac{750}{10}  = 75
