a bag contains rupee 50 paise and 25 paise coins in the ratio 5:7:9 if he total amount inthe bag is rs 430 find the number of coins of each kind

Let   no. of  coins be  5x , 7x , 9x .

Sum of values = (5x*100 + 7x*50 + 9x*25) = 43000 paisa

500x + 350x+ 225x = 43000 paisa

1075 x  =43000 paisa

x = 40

Hence 1 rupee coin are = 5 ×  40  = 200 coins ANS

50 paise coin = 7 ×  40  = 280 coins ANS

25 paise coin = 9 ×  40  = 360 coins ANS
