Answer:

Total coins = 63

Step-by-step explanation:

50 Paise : 1 Rs : 2 Rs ::: 8 : 6: 7

Let say x is common multiplier then

50 Paise coins = 8x

Value of 50 Paise coing = 8x × (50/100) = 4x  Rs

1 Rs Coins = 6x

Value of 1 Rs Coins = 6x × 1 = 6x Rs

2 Rs Coins = 7x

Value of 7Rs Coins = 7x × 7 = 14x Rs

Value of 2 rupee coins  = 12 + value of 1 rupee coins + Value of 50 Paise coins

14x = 12 + 6x + 4x

=> 4x = 12

=> x = 3

Total Coins = 8x + 6x + 7x = 21x

21 x = 21 × 3 = 63

Total coins = 63
