A bag contains slips bearing numbers from 1-89.A slip is drawn at random from the bag. Find the probability that the slip drawn has: (I) a number written on it such that sum of it's digits is 11. (ii) a number greater than 63 written on it.

1) There are 7 2-digit numbers whose sum of the digits is 11.They are 29,38,47,56,65,74,83.

Therefore the probability=favourable outcomes/total outcomes.

=7/89


2)The numbers greater than 63=89-63

=26

Therefore, probability=26/89
