Correct Question :- A bag contains slips with 2 digit numbers between 2 and 26 what is the probability that a slip chosen contains multiples of 5 ?

Solution :-

2 digit numbers between 2 and 26 are :- 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.

→ Total numbers = 16 . = Total number of outcomes .

multiples of 5 from the numbers are = 10, 15, 20 and 25

→ Total numbers which are multiple of 5 = 4 . = Favorable outcomes.

Therefore,

Required Probability = (Favorable outcomes) / (Total number of outcomes) = (4/16) = (1/4) (Ans.)

Hence, The probability that a slip chosen contains multiples of 5 is (1/4).
