Step-by-step explanation:

total no of ball is x+2x+3x is 6x

total no of ball not red is 3x

probability is 3x/6x=1/2

probability =x/6x=1/6

Answer:

Their are 50 percent chance of get ball which is not red

Their are 16.67 percent changes of getting white ball

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we are given that

Number of white balls = x

Number of black balls = 2x

Number of red balls = 3x

Total number of balls = Sum of whits , reds and blacks

                                    = x + 2x + 3x

                                    = 6x

So

Total simple space = 6x

Number of balls which are not red = Total - red balls = 6x - 3x = 3x

So

The desire space = 3x

Thus

Probability of not getting red ball = desire space / total space = 3x / 6x = 1/2

Thus

Their are 50 percent chance of get ball which is not red

Now

Number of white balls = x

The desire space = x

Thus

Probability of getting white ball = desire space / total space = x / 6x = 1/6

And we know that

1/6 ≈ 16.67

Thus

Their are 16.67 percent changes of getting white ball
