Let number of 25 paise be 'x' and 50 paise be 'y'
given : x = 6y
total value of 25 paise =25x
50 paise =50y
total value in the bag = 5000
and
25x +50y = 5000
substitute x =6y in this
=> 150y + 50y= 5000
200y=5000
y= 25
=> x=150
The bag has 150 twenty five paise coins and 25 fifty paise coins.
