Red marbles= 12

Green marbles= 20

Yellow marbles= 18

Total number of marbles=12+20+18=50

 \sf{Probability=  \frac{events}{total\: outcomes} }

 \large  \sf{=  \frac{12}{50}  =  \frac{6}{25}  \:  \: or \: \:  0.25}

Here,

Number of red marbles =12

Number of green marbles = 20

Number of yellow marbles = 18

P(E)=Number of trials in which the event happened / Total number of Trials

Probability of red marbles :-

P(E)= 12/12+20+18

P(E)=12/50
