Solution :

No. of red balls = 4

No. of yellow balls = 2

Total No. of balls in the bag = No. of red balls + No. of yellow balls= 4 + 2 = 6

Probability (Event) = No. of observation/Total No. of Balls

= No. of yellow balls/Total No. of balls

= 2/6

=1/3

Therefore, probability of getting a yellow ball at random is 1/3

AnswEr :

Total number of Balls = 4 red balls + 2 yellow balls

Total number of Balls = 4 + 2

Total number of Balls = 6 Balls

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Probability of getting a yellow ball :

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

By Using Formula of probability,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\star\ \boxed{\sf P_{(e)} = \dfrac{Number \ of \ favourable \ outcomes}{Total \ Number \ of \ outcomes}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

Therefore,

:\implies\sf Probability_{(yellow \ ball)} = \cancel\dfrac{2}{6} \\\\\\:\implies\boxed{\sf Probability_{(yellow \ ball)}  = \dfrac{1}{3}}

\therefore Probability of getting a yellow ball is 1/3.
