Probability= possible outcomes/total number of outcomes

Possible outcomes(red balls)= 4

Total number of outcomes=6

Therefore, 4/6=2/3

Hence, the probability of drawing red ball from the bag= 2/3

Probability of getting a red ball is \frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability is the ratio of number of favorable outcomes by the total outcomes.

nC_r=\frac{n!}{r!\times (n-r)!}

number of favorable outcomes = ^4C_1=\frac{4!}{3!}=4

total outcomes = ^6C_1=\frac{6!}{5!}=6

probability of getting a red ball = \frac{4}{6}=\frac{2}{3}
