So basically here we need to select 2 mangoes which are of different type
one rotten and one ripe
So to select a rotten we have 3 choices
and to select a ripe mango we have 7 choices
so 3C1*7C1=21
This is the event
Sample space is 10C2 for selecting any two mangoes
10C2=45
Answer=21/45
=7/15
Hope it helps
