Let the no. of 10Rs coins = x

Then the no. of 5Rs coins = 4x (given)

Total worth of the coins = 360Rs

Thus it can also be written as ;

• 10Rs(x) + 5Rs(4x) = 360Rs
• 10x + 20x = 360
• 30x = 360
• 3x = 36
• x = 12 coins.

Thus number of 10Rs coins = x = 12

Thus number of 5Rs coins = 4x = 4(12) = 48 coins.
