Answer:

there are 12 pairs which can be drawn

as(1,2)(1,4)(1,6) and so on

From these 12 only 3 pairs have sum =9

so probablity becomes

3/12. or1/4

Answer:

Sample space = {1,3,5,7,2,4,6} n(S) = 7

(event) = { 7-2 , 5-4 , 3-6 }

n ( event) = 3

P(Event) = n(event)/ N(S)

= 3/7
