Hi,
Total quantity of tea powder = 100kg ---( 1 )
Total cost of the powder = Rs 17250 ---( 2 )
Let quatntity of leaf powder = x kg
Quantity of dust tea powder = ( 100 - x ) kg
Cost of leaf tea powder per kg = Rs 210
Cost of dust tea powder per kg = Rs 85
According to the problem given ,
210x + 85( 100 - x ) = 17250 [ from ( 2 ) ]
210x + 8500 - 85x = 17250
125x = 17250 - 8500
125x = 8750
x = 8750/125
x = 70
Therefore ,
Quantity of leaf tea powder = x = 70kg
Quantity of dust tea powder = ( 100 - x ) kg
= ( 100 - 70) kg
= 30 Kg
I hope this helps you.
