\huge\mathfrak {Answer:}

3x + 5x balls = 40 balls

If 3x balls are gonna get obtained by Rahim

5x Balls are gonna get obtained by Kavita.

8x = 40

x = 40/8

x = 5

Therefore that gives us the values as

3x = 3 × 5 = 15 Balls for Rahim

5x = 5 × 5 = 25 Balls for Kavitha

Answer:

Hello ! , hope u understand,

Let the common ratio be x,

  3:5 =  3x ,5x.

total no of balls = 40,

so, 3x +5x = 40

     8x = 40

       x = 40/8

       x= 5.

No of balls rahim gets = 3x

                                     = 3*5 = 15.

No of balls kavitha  gets = 5x

                                        =  5*5 = 25.
