Given: Weight of Rice Bag (R) = 20 + Weight of Sugar Bag (S)

           2R = 50 + S

To find: Weight of the bag of Rice (R)

Solution: Given

R=20+S....(1)\\ 2R=50+S....(2)

Multiply equation (1) by 2, we get,

2R=40+2S...(3)

From equation    (2)-(3)

0=10-S   ⇒ S = 10 kg

From equation (1)

R = 20 + S = 20 + 10 = 30 kg
