Answer:

Weight of the bag of rice is 30 Kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the weight of bag of rice be x Kg and weight of bag of sugar be y Kg.

Now, first condition states that a bag of rice weights 20 kg more than of sugar , i.e;

         x = 20 + y

          y = x - 20 ------------ [Equation 1]

Second condition given that if 50 kg is sugar is added to the second bag ,it's weight becomes twice that of the bag of rice, i.e.;

                        50 + y = 2 * x

                        50 + x - 20 = 2 * x   {Using equation 1}

                          2 * x - x = 30

                            x = 30 Kg

Therefore, weight of the bag of rice is 30 Kg.
