PE=mgh
10=50×10^-3×10×h
h=20m

Heya !
_____

=> Potential Energy is the energy possessed by an object due to its state of rest . It is equal to the product of mass (m) , height (h) and acceleration due to gravity (g).

Expression : Pe = mgh

→Here we have ,

• Mass m = 50 gms => 1 / 20 Kg.........( 1 )

• Acceleration due to gravity => 10 m/s

• Potential Energy Pe = 10 J

• Height h = ?

=> Putting in Formula we have ,

 =  > 10 =  \frac{1}{20}  \times 10 \times h \\  \\  =  > 10 =  \frac{h}{2}

→Cross Multiplying the terms we have ,

=> H = 20 m

[ Note - we have taken acceleration due to gravity 'g' as 10 for easy calculation ]

★Hence, the height through which the ball fell is 20 m.
