Given :

Mass of bag (m)  = 75 Kg

Potential Energy (PE) = 7500 J

To Find :

Height

Solution :

We know, The ability of a body to do work due to its special position or configuration, is called potential energy of the body.

   Potential Energy (PE) = mgh

where, m = mass; g = acceleration due to gravity; h = height

∴ Height to which the bag should be raised = \frac{PE}{mg}

                                                                         = \frac{7500}{75 * 10}

                                                                         = 10 m

Therefore, the height to which the bag of mass 75 Kg should be raised so that its potential energy is 7500 J is 10 m.
