Answer:

30 Packs of Stale Bread

Step-by-step explanation:

Profit on Fresh Bread is Rs.5

Loss on Stale bread is Rs.3

Let us say

Q1 is total quantity of Fresh Bread sold  = 10

Q2 is total quantity of Sale Bread sold = ?

Net Profit is

(Fresh Bread Profit X Q1) - (Stale Bread Loss X Q2)  = -40

(5 X 10) - (3 X Q2) = -40

(50) - (3 X Q2) = -40

-3Q2 = -40-50

-3Q2 = -90

Q2= 90/3

Q2=30

---------------------

Profit from Sale of fresh bread

5 X 10 Packs = Rs. 50

Loss from Sale of Stale Bread

3 X 30 Paks = Rs. 90

Net Profit Or Loss = Profit - Loss

Net Profit or Loss = 50 - 90

Net Loss = 40 (or) Net Profit = -40
