a ball at the topmost point of the fountain of air resistance is negligible and speed and the water from the fountain will reach same height then the ball is in which equilibrium?

The ball is in static equilibrium as the force due to pressure in water is balancing the weight of the ball.

Let the height of the fountain be    h.
let density of water be ρ.
Let the area of contact between  the ball and water jet be  A.

   P + 1/2 ρ v² + ρ g h1 =  (mg/A) + ρ g (h1+h)  + 1/2 ρ 0²

         v² = 2 g h  + 2 m g /A
           h = v²/2g - m/A

  The jet will reach a higher  when there is no ball on top of the fountain.
