a ball dropped from a height on earth strikes the ground in 2 seconds. if the height from which it is dropped is doubled, Calculate the time taken by the ball to strike the ground?

explaination..

s=ut+1/2gt2

Since the ball was at rest before dropping, u=0

So in the given case, we have,

S =h

then we have

h = 1/2gt2

so.. " h is directly proportional to t2"
