A ball dropped from the top of a tower, falls first half of hieght in 5s. The total hieght of tower is (g=10m/s2).

we know that s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at²

if the height of the tower is x....then x/2 is it's half

substituting it

s=0+\frac{1}{2}at²            (the ball is dropped so initial velocity u = 0m/s)

s=10x\frac{1}{2}x25

s=250/2

s=125m => half of the tower

total height of the tower = 2s= 250m
